So, I took my laptop to Best Buy and it seems that all I needed was a new AC/DC adaptor. The new one, a universal adaptor is $89.99, and my Grandpa is picking up the tab (Bless Him)! So now I feel great. My files aren't lost! I still have to wait awhile to get it, but I still have my laptop so that's fantastic.

So my next project for my Intro to Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign class is a project that is supposed to be done on Illustrator. Well, I had success in downloading a free trial version of Photoshop CS4 and utilizing that for my first project. So, I thought that I would download Illustrator and use that as well. So at first everything was gravy, but then I get a screen that says something like "The following requirement is not met: 512 MB RAM or more."  I'm just like what the fuck? I just downloaded Photoshop, so why can't I fucking download this shit? So I try again, and the same thing pops up. I am so pissed!!!!. It makes my life a whole hell of a lot easier when I can just have the program on my computer and work on my project at home. I don't live on campus and I don't have as much access to the art building as my classmates. WHY CAN'T THE COSMOS BE NICE TO ME AND LET ME DOWNLOAD THE FUCKING PROGRAM!!!! SHIT! All I want to to is work on my comps and turn them in on time!
